Looking directly into experience, ‘Jeannie’ truthfully never ever chooses how to respond to what appears in the moment. Responses happen exactly how they do, the expression of life that Jeannie is has absolutely no control at all. Zero. If startled she jumps. If she was attacked or assaulted or abused, she would respond in that moment without thinking. As the theme of this writing is sensed into, the impetus to type is felt now, and typing happens. Sentences do not form as thoughts.
There is never a ‘decision’ to do anything at all. Sometimes a thought arises and an action happens; Jeannie has never chosen a thought nor the resulting action. There is impetus and following. Mindless following.
Life flows like water. This is how it is.
